The Fifth Trojka iz bloka held in Miami
On Saturday, December 14, the 5th humanitarian and sports tournament “Trojka iz bloka” was held at Flamingo Park, which once again brought Miami together in a common mission to help vulnerable Serbian families throughout the Balkans. The event was organized by the Miami Glasnik portal in cooperation with the Charity Organization Serbs for Serbs in America.
Despite the rainy weather and wind, the event attracted a large number of visitors and participants, thereby confirming its growing importance and popularity in the community. Thanks to this tournament, $3,017 in donations were collected, which will be directed towards helping vulnerable Serbian families in the Balkans.
The final round brought a lot of excitement and uncertainty. In the end, the winner of the tournament was Dejan Kuzmanovski, who with his triumph reaffirmed his status as the best “three-man” in Miami, second place was taken by eight-year-old Vivan Nemraj, while third place was won by Dusan Nikolic.
The event was not only about sports – visitors enjoyed delicious homemade food donated by kebab shop owner Sheker Agha and our fellow citizen Sladjana from Madam la Luma, who prepared specialties that delighted everyone present.
Worthy of attention was the gesture of our national basketball player Nikola Jovic, who donated a signed jersey for auction. The jersey was sold, and the funds also further increased the total amount raised at the tournament.
The “Trojka iz bloka” charity tournament became a symbol of unity, sports and humanity in Miami. This event has proven once again that with a little effort and good will we can do great things for those who need help the most.
The organizers would like to thank all participants, donors and visitors who made this event once again successful and meaningful for the community.
