Trojka iz Bloka and the 3×3 Basketball Tournament in Atlanta

The humanitarian organization Serbs for Serbs USA organized another sports-charity event in Atlanta – the “Trojka iz Bloka” fast three-point shooting tournament, accompanied by a 3×3 basketball competition. The event took place on Sunday, November 2, on the basketball courts in the courtyard of the Saints Peter and Paul Church.

Throughout a day filled with sports, friendly competition, and community spirit, a total of $1,536 in donations was collected. All proceeds will be directed toward helping socially vulnerable families through the organization’s current aid program.

Results of the “Trojka iz Bloka” tournament:

• 1st place: Goran Matić
• 2nd place: Marko Akbari
• 3rd place: Taran Sankar

Although the event was modest in size, the atmosphere was warm, friendly, and uplifting. The organizers announced plans to significantly expand the tournament next year, with the goal of bringing together the entire Serbian community of Atlanta and the surrounding area, making this event one of the city’s most meaningful charitable gatherings.
