Trojka iz bloka in Columbus

The Serbs for Serbs USA successfully organized the sports-charity tournament “Trojka iz bloka”, a fast-shooting basketball competition held on Saturday, May 24, at the basketball courts of St. Stephen of Dečani Church in Columbus.

Despite a smaller turnout, the event was marked by a warm and uplifting atmosphere. Around 30 participants joined the tournament, contributing through their involvement to the mission of supporting socially vulnerable families. Thanks to the generosity of all participants and donors, a total of $1,770 was raised to support families assisted through the Serbs for Serbs humanitarian aid program.

Although attendance was modest this year, the event was a success and demonstrated great potential for growth. The organizers hope that next year’s tournament will attract even more members of the Serbian community in Ohio, strengthening the tradition of charity, unity, and sportsmanship.
