Trojka iz Bloka in Phoenix

Another major sports-charity event – the “Trojka iz Bloka” fast three-point shooting tournament, along with a 3×3 basketball tournament was successfully organized by the Charity organization Serbs for Serbs USA. The event took place in Phoenix, at the ASU Phoenix university basketball courts, on Sunday, November 23.

This year, Phoenix showed extraordinary generosity and community spirit. The tournament gathered several hundred Serbs from Phoenix and the surrounding area, all united in supporting the mission of helping families in need. A total of $13,400 in donations was collected, all of which will be directed toward assisting socially vulnerable families through the current aid program of Serbs for Serbs.

Results – “Trojka iz Bloka” (33 competitors):

• 1st place: Novak – last year’s champion, defending his title (back-to-back)
• 2nd place: Fedor
• 3rd place (shared): Andrej and Milorad

Results – 3×3 Basketball Tournament (7 teams):

• 1st place: AZ Serbs – Vedran Zeljkovic, Pedja Lalic, Stefan Gajic, Milos Kuljanin
• 2nd place: Ekipa Stigla – Mitar Dragic, Marko Puric, Nikola Vasiljevic
• 3rd place: Ekipa Bugarska – Rado, Jonny, Giovanni, Galen

The atmosphere was outstanding—energetic, competitive, and filled with a strong sense of unity. Special thanks go to the Krstić family, the local organizers in Phoenix and our biggest donors, as well as to all other donors, competitors and supporters who helped make this one of the most successful events in the city.
