Successful Trojka iz bloka Event in Columbus Raises $6,950 for Families in Need

On Saturday, April 4th, on the Christian holiday of Palm Sunday, the humanitarian sports event “Trojka iz bloka” was successfully held in Columbus, the capital of the state of Ohio, organized by the Charity Organization Serbs for Serbs USA.

The tournament took place on the basketball courts of the St. Stefan Decanski Church, gathering a large number of participants, volunteers, and visitors. In addition to the three-point shooting competition, a charity donut sale was also organized.

Thanks to the generosity of participants and sponsors, a total of $6,950 in donations was collected during the event. The funds will be directed toward helping socially vulnerable families through the programs of the Serbs for Serbs humanitarian organization.

Around 40 competitors took part in the tournament, with Nikola Barac, Nikola Vitos, and Filipovic emerging as the winners. Special thanks go to the many young volunteers who contributed to the organization, food preparation, and service.

The event was organized with the great support and blessing of the clergy of St. Stefan Decanski Church, Ivica Petrovic and his family, as well as the priestly Kisin family and all parish members. We are deeply grateful for their support and trust in our organization’s work.

For the first time, the tournament was also supported by sponsors: Connect Realty LLC, David & Sharon Tumbas, The Roof Detective LLC, Ivica Petrović, MTJ Logistics LLC, and MGC Transport LLC, to whom we extend our sincere gratitude.
