TROJKA IZ BLOKA IN BOSTON RAISES $3,165 FOR FAMILIES ACROSS THE BALKANS

On Sunday, September 13, Charity Organization Serbs for Serbs USA organized another edition of the traditional “Trojka iz bloka” humanitarian sports tournament in Boston. This year’s event was held in the basketball gym next to St. Sava Church and featured the traditional three-point shooting competition, along with a 3-on-3 basketball tournament held at the beginning of the program.

Combining sports, fellowship, and humanitarian work, the event once again brought members of the Serbian as well as Amercian community together. Thanks to the participants and tournament sponsors, a total of $3,165 was raised. The funds will be used to support socially vulnerable families across the Balkans.

A total of 17 competitors registered for the three-point shooting competition. The top three finishers were:

2. Vukašin Dimić
3. Aleksandar Marjanović

The program also featured a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, which took place at the beginning of the event. After a series of exciting and competitive games, the top three teams were:

1. Piece of Cake team
   Captain: Luka Novaković
2. Clean Beer team
   Captain: Aleksandar Dobrović
3. Guzzi team
   Captain: Đorđe Vlajković

A large number of young people also played an important role in making the event possible, helping with court preparation, tournament organization, and other activities throughout the event.

Trojka iz bloka in Boston has become a traditional gathering of the Serbian community. Through its humanitarian contribution, the event has become an important part of the broader mission of Serbs for Serbs in the United States – raising funds through sports and community events to support the most vulnerable families across the Balkans.

Special thanks go to the Serbs for Serbs volunteers from New York, who traveled to Boston to support their fellow volunteers and help make another successful humanitarian event possible. Their dedication and willingness to help demonstrate the strength of the volunteer network connecting Serbian communities across the United States.
