TROJKA IZ BLOKA IN CHICAGO RAISES $22,897 TO SUPPORT FAMILIES ACROSS THE BALKANS
Charity Organization Serbs for Serbs USA successfully organized another edition of Trojka iz bloka, a humanitarian three-point shooting tournament held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the basketball courts of Veterans Park in Lyons, Chicago.

The tournament brought together 55 registered competitors, along with a large number of young people and volunteers who helped prepare the courts, organize the competition, and make the entire event possible. Once again, the event demonstrated the power of sport to bring people together and inspire solidarity.

A total of $22,897 in donations was raised through contributions from participants, sponsors, and supporters of the humanitarian event. The funds will be used to support socially vulnerable families across the Balkans as part of the Serbs for Serbs humanitarian organization’s 2026 assistance program.

The top three competitors in the Chicago three-point shooting tournament were:
- Marko Radonjić
- Nikola Borojević
- Stefan Petrović

The event was further enriched by a humanitarian auction featuring a signed basketball jersey of Nemanja Nedović of Basketball club Crvena zvezda and his team players, who also joined and supported the humanitarian campaign in Chicago. His support is another example of how athletes and sports can contribute to improving the lives of families in need.

Humanitarian Organization Serbs for Serbs would like to sincerely thank all competitors, donors, sponsors, volunteers, young people who helped with the organization, and everyone who contributed in any way to the success of this year’s Trojka iz bloka in Chicago.

Together, we continue to build a global network of solidarity that connects people around the world and brings meaningful assistance to families who need it most.
